TAALAPATRA HERITAGE CLUB — TERMS

These Terms and Conditions govern the rules and conditions for participating in the Taalapatra Heritage Club (referred to as "THC" or "the Programme"), a loyalty programme owned and operated by Taalapatra Vibes ("Taalapatra," "we," "us," or "our"). By joining or continuing to participate in the Taalapatra Heritage Club, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. They apply to every aspect of your membership, including earning Heritage Points, redeeming rewards, tier qualification, and access to member benefits. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue your participation in the Programme.


1. About the Taalapatra Heritage Club

The Taalapatra Heritage Club is the loyalty programme of Taalapatra Vibes, operated through www.taalapatra.com. It is designed to recognise and honour members who support India's artisan families and craft traditions through their continued engagement with Taalapatra.

The Programme is governed by Taalapatra Vibes. These Terms and Conditions apply to all members across all four tiers: Classic, Regal, Legacy, and Guardian.

For the latest benefits, tier details, and any updates to the Programme, members must refer to the Heritage Club page at www.taalapatra.com/pages/taalapatra-heritage-club. That page is the primary and most current reference for all Programme benefits. These Terms and Conditions must be read alongside it.


2. Eligibility and Enrollment

a) Membership in the Taalapatra Heritage Club is free and open to all individuals who hold a registered account on www.taalapatra.com.

b) Enrollment is automatic. Membership begins when you create an account on taalapatra.com or earn your first Heritage Points through any qualifying action. No separate application or registration is required.

c) Only one account per person is permitted. Multiple accounts held by the same individual will be considered a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate revocation of all accounts and forfeiture of all associated Heritage Points and benefits.

d) Membership is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be gifted, sold, or assigned to another individual.


3. Membership Tiers

The Taalapatra Heritage Club has four membership tiers. Tier status is based on total purchase spend within a calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.

a) Classic: Assigned automatically upon enrollment. Classic carries no expiration and is the permanent base tier. Once Classic, always Classic. It cannot be removed under any circumstance.

b) Regal: Achieved when total purchases in a calendar year reach ₹50,000. Regal tier is valid for a custom 12-month period from the date of achievement.

c) Legacy: Achieved when total purchases in a calendar year reach ₹1,00,000. Legacy tier is valid for a custom 12-month period from the date of achievement.

d) Guardian: Achieved when total purchases in a calendar year reach ₹2,00,000. Guardian tier is valid for a custom 12-month period from the date of achievement.

e) Tier upgrades take effect immediately when a member crosses the qualifying threshold.

f) Tier thresholds are based on fulfilled purchases only. Cancelled or returned orders do not count toward tier qualification.

g) At the start of each new calendar year (January 1), Taalapatra evaluates the prior year's purchase spend and reassigns tiers accordingly. Members who do not meet the threshold for their current tier are moved to the tier that matches their prior year's spend. Classic is exempt from this evaluation, as it is permanent.

h) All tier-related decisions, including qualification, re-qualification, and reassignment, are at Taalapatra Vibes' sole discretion and are final.


4. Earning Heritage Points

Members earn Heritage Points through the qualifying actions described below.

4.1 Purchase Earn Rates

Points are earned per ₹1 spent on eligible purchases at www.taalapatra.com:

a) Classic: 1 point per ₹1 spent
b) Regal: 3 points per ₹1 spent
c) Legacy: 6 points per ₹1 spent
d) Guardian: 10 points per ₹1 spent

4.2 One-Time Engagement Bonuses

The following bonuses are available to all members on a one-time basis only:

a) Joining the Heritage Club: 500 points
b) Instagram Follow: 1,000 points
c) Facebook Follow: 1,000 points
d) YouTube Subscribe: 1,000 points
e) Newsletter Subscription: 200 points

4.3 Product Review Points

Members earn points for submitting product reviews, subject to reasonable activity limits. Points per review, by tier:

a) Classic: 1,000 points
b) Regal: 1,500 points
c) Legacy: 2,000 points
d) Guardian: 2,500 points

Members who include a photo or video with their review receive an additional 500 points on top of the base review reward. This applies to all four tiers equally. Review point awards are subject to reasonable activity limits as determined by Taalapatra Vibes from time to time.

4.4 Heritage Referrals

a) When a member refers a friend and that friend completes their first purchase on taalapatra.com, the referring member earns 2,000 Heritage Points.

b) The referred friend receives 1,000 Heritage Points credited to their account on their first purchase.

c) Both rewards are triggered only after the friend's first purchase is completed. Invitation acceptance alone does not qualify for any reward.

4.5 General Earn Conditions

a) Points are not earned on eGift card purchases.

b) Points earned on a purchase that is subsequently returned or cancelled will be deducted from the member's balance.

c) Taalapatra Vibes reserves the right to modify earn rules, rates, and qualifying actions at any time. The most current earn structure is always available on the Heritage Club page.


5. Redeeming Heritage Points

a) 100 Heritage Points are equal to ₹1 in discount value.

b) A minimum of 500 Heritage Points is required for any redemption.

c) Redemption is processed through a discount code with the prefix HC, applied at checkout on www.taalapatra.com.

d) Heritage Points cannot be redeemed on eGift card purchases.

e) Heritage Points carry no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other form of currency.

f) Taalapatra Vibes reserves the right to modify redemption rates, minimum thresholds, eligible products, and redemption conditions at any time. The most current redemption structure is always available on the Heritage Club page.


6. Points and Tier Expiry

6.1 Points Expiry

a) Heritage Points expire after 12 consecutive months of complete account inactivity.

b) Any qualifying action resets the expiry clock. This includes a purchase, a product review, a referral, or a social follow.

c) Classic and Regal members will receive a reminder communication 30 days before their points are due to expire.

d) Classic members are exempt from points expiry. As Classic is a permanent tier, this exemption holds indefinitely.

6.2 Tier Expiry

a) Regal, Legacy, and Guardian tiers are subject to two independent expiry mechanisms. The first is the annual January re-evaluation based on calendar year purchase spend. The second is a 12-month inactivity expiry, which applies if no qualifying activity is recorded for 12 consecutive months. Whichever of these two mechanisms triggers first will apply.

b) Classic tier carries no expiration and is not subject to either expiry mechanism.


7. Tier Demotion

a) If a member's calendar year purchase spend falls below the threshold for their current tier, they will be moved to the tier that reflects their actual spend at the January re-evaluation. Demotion occurs by one tier at a time.

b) Classic is the permanent base tier. No member can be demoted below Classic.

c) Heritage Points are independent of tier status. Points accumulated during a higher tier are not forfeited on account of tier demotion alone, unless separately forfeited under Section 11 of these Terms.


8. Member Benefits

A complete and up-to-date list of benefits by tier is available on the Heritage Club page. Members are encouraged to refer to that page regularly, as benefits may be updated from time to time.

The following terms govern specific benefits across all tiers.

a) Priority Customer Care: Legacy and Guardian members receive priority handling for all customer care queries. To activate this, Legacy and Guardian members must begin the subject line of their email to care@taalapatra.com with their tier name, for example "Legacy Member: Query" or "Guardian Member: Request." On WhatsApp, members should mention their tier at the start of their message. Classic and Regal members receive standard customer care.

b) Heritage Referrals: Both the referring member's reward and the referred friend's reward are credited only after the friend's first purchase is completed. Invitation acceptance alone does not trigger any reward. Please refer to Section 4.4 for the full referral terms.

c) Product Review Rewards: Review point awards, including the additional points for photo and video reviews, are subject to reasonable activity limits as determined by Taalapatra Vibes. Specific limits are not disclosed publicly but are applied consistently and fairly across all members.

d) Birthday Benefits: Birthday points and gifts are awarded during the member's birth month. The member's birthday date must be saved to their taalapatra.com account for this benefit to apply.

e) All benefits are personal and non-transferable. No benefit may be transferred to, shared with, or used by any person other than the registered member.

f) All benefits are subject to change. Taalapatra Vibes' decision on the provision, modification, or withdrawal of any benefit is final and cannot be challenged.


9. Guardian-Specific Terms

The following terms apply exclusively to Guardian tier members. All Guardian benefits are provided at Taalapatra Vibes' discretion and are subject to feasibility, availability, and operational considerations. Taalapatra Vibes' decisions on all Guardian benefits are final and cannot be challenged.

9.1 Custom Craft Commission

a) Guardian members may request a custom-crafted piece from Taalapatra's artisan network. All requests are subject to artisan availability, craft and material feasibility, and Taalapatra Vibes' sole approval.

b) Taalapatra Vibes reserves the right to decline any commission request without providing a reason.

c) Approved pieces will be listed on www.taalapatra.com with the commissioning Guardian member credited as patron.

d) Full intellectual property, commercial rights, and ownership of all commissioned pieces remain exclusively with Taalapatra Vibes.

9.2 Guardian Brand Council Access

a) Guardian members may be invited, entirely at Taalapatra Vibes' sole discretion, to share inputs on select brand decisions.

b) This access is not guaranteed and carries no fixed frequency or format. It may be extended or withdrawn at any time without notice.

c) Participation in the Brand Council does not constitute a legal, advisory, contractual, or employment relationship of any kind with Taalapatra Vibes. Participating member(s) will not be awarded with any cash, gifts, rewards, etc.

9.3 Guardian Artisan Hour

a) Guardian members are entitled to a private one-hour session with artisans at Taalapatra's annual flagship event in Bhubaneswar.

b) The session is moderated by the Taalapatra team throughout its duration.

c) One immediate family member of the Guardian member may attend, subject to Taalapatra Vibes' prior written approval.

d) This benefit becomes available once the Guardian member family reaches a size that Taalapatra Vibes considers operationally meaningful. Taalapatra Vibes' determination of this threshold is final.

9.4 Guardian Nameplate

a) Guardian members receive permanent recognition through a nameplate bearing their name at Taalapatra's annual flagship event.

b) Taalapatra does not operate a physical retail store. The Nameplate is associated with the annual flagship event or any future physical presence that Taalapatra Vibes may establish.

c) The design, format, placement, size, and all other aspects of the Nameplate are determined entirely by Taalapatra Vibes. This decision is final and cannot be challenged by the member.


10. Programme Modifications and Termination

a) Taalapatra Vibes reserves the right to modify, restructure, suspend, or discontinue the Taalapatra Heritage Club, or any aspect of it, including tiers, earn rules, redemption rates, benefits, and qualifying actions, at any time and without legal obligation.

b) Major structural changes to the Programme will be communicated through the website. All changes take effect upon being posted to www.taalapatra.com, with or without direct member notification.

c) All decisions regarding Programme modifications, benefit changes, tier restructuring, and Programme termination lie solely with Taalapatra Vibes and are final.

d) Members are responsible for regularly reviewing the Heritage Club page for the most current Programme details.

e) In the event of Programme termination, any outstanding Heritage Points will be forfeited and will carry no claim, cash value, or entitlement of any kind.


11. Membership Revocation

a) Taalapatra Vibes reserves the right to revoke the membership of any member, at any tier including Guardian, immediately and without prior notice.

b) Grounds for revocation include but are not limited to: fraud, manipulation of points or referrals, misuse of Programme benefits, abuse of any member privilege, conduct inconsistent with Taalapatra's values, or any violation of these Terms or of the main Terms of Use.

c) Upon revocation, all Heritage Points accumulated by the member are immediately forfeited and cannot be recovered, transferred, or redeemed.

d) All tier status and associated benefits are terminated immediately upon revocation.

e) Taalapatra Vibes' decision on revocation is final and cannot be challenged.


12. Points and Benefits: General Conditions

a) Heritage Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or exchanged under any circumstance.

b) All Programme benefits are personal to the registered member and cannot be transferred to or used by any other individual.

c) Heritage Points and Programme benefits are not legal tender, credit, or currency of any kind.

d) Taalapatra Vibes makes no representation that the Programme or any of its benefits will be available continuously, without interruption, or indefinitely.


13. Relationship to Other Taalapatra Policies

These Terms and Conditions form part of the broader framework of policies governing your relationship with Taalapatra Vibes. Members are encouraged to read and familiarise themselves with the following:

These THC Terms and Conditions are governed by and must be read alongside Taalapatra's main Terms of Use. In the event of any contradiction or conflict between these THC Terms and the main Terms of Use, the main Terms of Use shall prevail.


14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha hold exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising from these Terms.

For the complete Dispute Resolution Framework, including direct dialogue, mediation, arbitration, and governing law provisions, members are directed to relevant Section of Taalapatra's main Terms of Use. That framework applies equally to disputes arising from these THC Terms and Conditions.

For Grievance and Data Protection matters, members are directed to Section 19 of Taalapatra's main Terms of Use.
