  6. Shipping & Delivery – Timelines vary by ready stock vs. made-to-order items. Tracking details are shared after dispatch. Delivery issues must be reported within 24 hours.
  7. Returns & Exchanges – Only accepted for defective/incorrect items, supported by an unedited unpacking video. Customised or personalised products are non-returnable.
  8. Gift Cards – Valid for 365 days; non-refundable, non-reloadable, and redeemable only on www.taalapatra.com.
  9. Intellectual Property – All content, images, and product designs are owned by Taalapatra or its artisans. No reproduction or commercial use without prior consent.
  10. Privacy & Data Protection – By ticking the mandatory consent checkbox at checkout, you provide explicit consent to our Privacy & Data Retention Policy, fully compliant with DPDP Act (India), GDPR (EU/UK) and other global standards. Without consent, you cannot complete your purchase.
  11. Liability & Disclaimer – Taalapatra is not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Products and site are provided “as is”, and delivery dates are estimates.
  12. Dispute Resolution – Issues will first be addressed via Direct Dialogue (5 business days). If unresolved, mediation or arbitration in Bhubaneswar applies. Small disputes may go to small-cause courts. Indian law governs all disputes.

  a) Mythological and historical references are artisan interpretations, not definitive records.
  b) Narratives vary across communities; treat them as expressions of heritage.
  c) Spiritual motifs are offered with artistic respect, not as spiritual guarantees.

5. Product Images vs. Actual Product

  a) Photos may differ due to lighting, screens, camera settings.
  b) Natural dyes/painting cause batch colour shifts.
  c) These add to authenticity, not flaws.

6. Product Availability & Pricing

  a) Products are subject to availability and may be discontinued.
  b) Prices in INR (₹) include GST (India).
  c) International orders may incur duties/taxes payable by buyer.
  d) We may correct/update errors without prior notice.

Taalapatra does not store card details. Orders confirmed only on successful payment.

10. Gift Cards

Issuance: eGift Cards issued by Taalapatra Vibes only.

Validity: 365 days from purchase.

Redemption: Only at www.taalapatra.com.

Restrictions: Cannot be reloaded, refunded, exchanged for cash, or used to buy other Gift Cards.

Lost/Stolen Use: Taalapatra is not liable for misuse after issue.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, text, photos, logos, and content belong to Taalapatra Vibes or its artisans.

No commercial use or reproduction without consent.

12. Prohibited Conduct

Do not:

  a) Post unlawful/harmful content.
  b) Impersonate others.

Violations may lead to account suspension/legal action.

18. Dispute-Resolution Framework

Friendly first. If something goes wrong, email/call us—we’ll call you back. Most issues resolve quickly.

  a) Direct Dialogue – settle by email, WhatsApp, or voice within 5 business days.
  b) Voluntary Mediation – neutral mediator via Odisha State Legal Services Authority.
  c) Binding Arbitration – Bhubaneswar, under Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
    i) Rules & Language: English, Part I defaults.
    ii) Award: Final and enforceable.
    iii) Costs: Arbitrator may split fairly.
  d) Small-Claims Carve-Out – disputes below the monetary ceiling can go to small-cause court.
  e) Collective Actions – class/collective suits are waived to the extent permitted.
  f) Governing Law – governed by Indian law; jurisdiction: Bhubaneswar courts.
