Every action you take here, whether a purchase, a review, a referral, or simply following us on social media, earns Heritage Points and brings you closer to deeper experiences with our artisan community.
Joining is completely free. Membership begins the moment you create an account on taalapatra.com or earn your first Heritage Points through any qualifying action. There is no form, no fee, and no waiting. Your heritage journey begins whenever you are ready.
What are the four membership tiers and how are they achieved?

The Heritage Club has four tiers, each reflecting a deeper commitment to the journey.
a) Classic is where every member begins, automatically, on joining. Classic carries no expiration, ever. Once Classic, always Classic, with no tier below it.
b) Regal is achieved when your total purchases in a calendar year reach ₹50,000.
c) Legacy is achieved at ₹1,00,000 in purchases within a calendar year.
d) Guardian is achieved at ₹2,00,000 in purchases within a calendar year.
Tier thresholds are based on purchases made between January 1 and December 31 of the current year. When you cross a threshold, your tier upgrades immediately. At the start of each new year, your purchase spend resets and tiers are re-evaluated based on the previous year's activity.

Heritage Points expire after 12 months of complete account inactivity. Any qualifying action resets the expiry clock. This includes a purchase, a product review, a referral, or a social follow. Classic and Regal members receive a reminder email 30 days before their points are due to expire.
For tier status, two independent mechanisms apply. First, every January, Taalapatra evaluates the prior calendar year's purchase spend and assigns the tier that matches. Second, if there is no qualifying activity on your account for 12 consecutive months, your tier may lapse before January arrives. Whichever of these two triggers first is what applies.
Classic is the only exception to all of the above. It carries no expiration and cannot be removed for any reason. Once Classic, always Classic.
How do I earn Heritage Points?

There are several ways to earn Heritage Points, and purchases are just one of them.
On purchases, your earn rate depends on your tier:
a) Classic: 1pt per ₹1 spent
b) Regal: 3pts per ₹1 spent
c) Legacy: 6pts per ₹1 spent
d) Guardian: 10pts per ₹1 spent
One-time bonuses are available to all members for social and account actions:
a) Joining the Heritage Club: 500 pts
b) Instagram Follow: 1,000 pts
c) Facebook Follow: 1,000 pts
d) YouTube Subscribe: 1,000 pts
e) Newsletter Subscription: 200 pts
Product reviews earn points each time you submit one, subject to reasonable activity limits. Points vary by tier:
a) Classic: 1,000 pts per review
b) Regal: 1,500 pts per review
c) Legacy: 2,000 pts per review
d) Guardian: 2,500 pts per review
When you add a photo or video to your review, all tiers receive an additional 500 pts on top of the base review reward.
Referrals also earn you points. When someone you refer completes their first purchase on taalapatra.com, you receive 2,000 Heritage Points. Your friend receives 1,000 Heritage Points credited to their account on that same first purchase. Both rewards are triggered after the purchase is completed, not on invitation acceptance.

100 Heritage Points equal ₹1 in discount. A minimum of 500 points is required to redeem. When you redeem, a discount code with the prefix HC is generated and applied at checkout.
To give you a sense of the value, here is an example based on a ₹5,000 purchase:
a) Classic earns 5,000 pts, redeemable for ₹50 off
b) Regal earns 15,000 pts, redeemable for ₹150 off
c) Legacy earns 30,000 pts, redeemable for ₹300 off
d) Guardian earns 50,000 pts, redeemable for ₹500 off
These are illustrative examples. Actual amounts will depend on your purchase value and tier.
An important thing to note that redemption is not applicable on eGift card purchases.

Tier Achievement Bonuses are one-time rewards when you first reach Regal, Legacy, or Guardian:

Masterworks First Access: Taalapatra's highest-value collector pieces are called Masterworks. Legacy members receive 48 hours of first access before any Masterworks piece is listed publicly. Guardian members receive 96 hours, along with the Right of First Choice. This means if a Guardian member wishes to acquire a Masterworks piece, it is reserved for them before the piece is ever listed publicly.
Customer Care Priority: Classic and Regal members receive standard customer care. Legacy and Guardian members receive priority handling. Guardian Artisan Hour: A private one-hour session with artisans at Taalapatra's annual flagship event in Bhubaneswar, moderated by the Taalapatra team throughout.
